Take the hair assessmentThe LADOR Before Care Keratin PPT is a conditioning hair mist is formulated with concentrated hydrolyzed keratin to tame frizzes while maintaining an ideal pH level to keep hair healthy and silky soft.
Written from the ingredient list. Where it describes how a formula behaves, that is inferred from what the ingredients are and where they sit in the list, not measured.
Before Care Keratin PPT is a mist from LADOR, aimed at wavy hair, curly hair and medium hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on protein & strength, damage repair and shine. The ingredients doing most of that work are Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Keratin and Peg-12 Dimethicone. The list runs to 11 ingredients, 6 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
By the balance of its ingredients the formula reads as neither especially rich nor especially light. The silicone here is Peg-12 Dimethicone, the water-soluble kind — the same slip and shine, without the build-up that needs a clarifying wash to shift. Protein outweighs the moisturising ingredients, which is what damaged hair usually wants and what hair already stiff with protein usually does not.
This is a protein-heavy formula, built on Hydrolyzed Collagen and Hydrolyzed Keratin. Protein reinforces a damaged cortex, which is why bleached and high-porosity hair reaches for it — and why hair that is not damaged can end up feeling brittle after too much of it.
On an oily scalp the richer ingredients here can read as greasy at the roots.
Nothing in the list is the kind of ingredient that accumulates on hair.
It is a leave-in: applied after washing and not rinsed out. Towel-dry your hair after shampooing. Comb your hair with a hairbrush, and then apply evenly all over the damp hair. Comb your hair 2-3 times again and leave it on for 10 minutes until it dries. Follow up with hair treatment or ampule
Nothing in this formula is aimed at scalp soothing, oil control, volume / lightweight and curl definition — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.
