Elizavecca Cer-100 Collagen Coating Hair A+ Muscle Essence helps smooth frizz, boost shine, and leave hair feeling softer and easier to manage. This lightweight leave-in hair essence coats each strand to help tame flyaways, reduce the look of dryness, and add a silky, glossy finish without feeling heavy.
Written from the ingredient list. Where it describes how a formula behaves, that is inferred from what the ingredients are and where they sit in the list, not measured.
Cer-100 Collagen Coating Hair A+ Muscle Essence is a leave-in from Elizavecca, aimed at coily hair, curly hair and coarse hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on shine, frizz control and protein & strength. The ingredients doing most of that work are Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone and Disiloxane. The list runs to 26 ingredients, 14 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
The oils and film-formers sit high enough in the list that the formula reads as rich — good for coarse, dry or very porous hair, and the kind of thing that can flatten fine hair. It contains Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone and Disiloxane. Silicones smooth the cuticle and cut frizz on contact; they are also what a clarifying wash is for, because they do not rinse out with a mild shampoo.
This is a protein-heavy formula, built on Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed SOY Protein and Hydrolyzed Corn Protein. Protein reinforces a damaged cortex, which is why bleached and high-porosity hair reaches for it — and why hair that is not damaged can end up feeling brittle after too much of it.
For the scalp itself the formula carries Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract. On an oily scalp the richer ingredients here can read as greasy at the roots.
Several ingredients here stay on the hair between washes — Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone and Disiloxane — so on low-porosity or fine hair this is a formula that will want a clarifying wash from time to time. For low porosity the formula is on the heavy side — it can sit on top rather than absorb.
It is a leave-in: applied after washing and not rinsed out. After shampooing and towel-drying, apply a generous amount to your hair, focusing on the ends. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For optimal results, use 2-3 times a week.
Nothing in this formula is aimed at scalp soothing, oil control, volume / lightweight and curl definition — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.
