See how this fits your hair
Take the hair assessment and I'll rate this product for your hair type.
Take the hair assessmentA silicone-free shampoo designed to cleanse the hair and scalp without leaving the hair feeling stiff or rough. The formula contains moisturizing and conditioning ingredients including amino acids, shea butter, honey, panthenol (provitamin B5), hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed silk, and sodium hyaluronate. The manufacturer describes it as providing a smooth, silky finish while maintaining the hair’s natural shine. It has a natural floral fragrance.
Written from the ingredient list. Where it describes how a formula behaves, that is inferred from what the ingredients are and where they sit in the list, not measured.
Non-Silicone Shampoo is a shampoo from SALON LINK, aimed at fine hair, straight hair and wavy hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on moisture, oil control and frizz control. The ingredients doing most of that work are Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Glycerin. The list runs to 29 ingredients, 18 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
It cleanses with Sodium Laureth Sulfate, a sulfate detergent — effective on oil and product, and the thing people move away from when colour fades fast or the lengths feel stripped. It is buffered with Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Potassium Cocoyl Glutamate, which softens that considerably.
The formula reads as lightweight: humectants lead and there is little in the way of heavy oil or silicone, so it should not weigh fine hair down. There are no silicones in the list. The formula leans to moisture rather than protein.
There is a small amount of protein in the list: Arginine, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hydrolyzed Keratin and Hydrolyzed Silk.
For the scalp itself the formula carries Panthenol. A sensitive or easily irritated scalp may want something milder — the detergent here is the strong kind.
It is the first step of a wash: it goes on wet hair before anything else. Wet the hair thoroughly. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo evenly throughout the hair and work into a lather. Massage gently to cleanse the hair and scalp, then rinse thoroughly with water
Nothing in this formula is aimed at volume / lightweight, curl definition, color protection and damage repair — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.

One ingredient usually does several jobs, so these counts add up to more than the list length.

Yes. There are no silicones in the ingredient list.
No — the formula contains a sulfate detergent, a drying alcohol, which the method excludes.
By the weight and build-up of the formula it reads as suited to fine hair, straight hair, wavy hair. It may be less comfortable on coarse hair.
Yes — Arginine, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Silk. That is a small amount for this kind of product.

Probably not the gentlest choice — the cleansing here is done by a strong detergent.
