Take the hair assessmentThe Aromatica Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo is a hypoallergenic shampoo with a blend of rosemary, pine leaf, ginger, bhringraj, basil, coriander, and oregano extracts that exfoliate and nourish the scalp, leading to healthier hair. Additional ingredients, biotin and panthenol, help strengthen and add shine to tresses.
Written from the ingredient list. Where it describes how a formula behaves, that is inferred from what the ingredients are and where they sit in the list, not measured.
Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo is a shampoo from AROMATICA, aimed at fine hair, straight hair and wavy hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on scalp soothing, moisture and oil control. The ingredients doing most of that work are Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate and Propanediol. The list runs to 45 ingredients, 18 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
It is sulfate-free: the cleansing is done by Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate and Lauryl Glucoside, milder surfactants that leave more of the hair's own oil behind.
The formula reads as lightweight: humectants lead and there is little in the way of heavy oil or silicone, so it should not weigh fine hair down. There are no silicones in the list. The formula leans to moisture rather than protein.
There is a small amount of protein in the list: Arginine.
For the scalp itself the formula carries Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Salicylic Acid and Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil. On an oily scalp the richer ingredients here can read as greasy at the roots.
It is the first step of a wash: it goes on wet hair before anything else. Wet your hair with lukewarm water. Take an adequate amount, rub it with your hands to create bubbles, and wash it.
Nothing in this formula is aimed at protein & strength, volume / lightweight, curl definition and color protection — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.

One ingredient usually does several jobs, so these counts add up to more than the list length.
