Take the hair assessmentAromatica’s Tea Tree Purifying Shampoo is a refreshing, silicone and sulfate-free formula that delivers a cooling sensation while helping to control excess oil. Infused with naturally derived ingredients—tea tree to balance sebum, burdock to soothe the scalp, fenugreek to nourish hair follicles, and false daisy to support healthy growth—it also includes biotin and panthenol to leave hair shiny and revitalized.
Written from the ingredient list. Where it describes how a formula behaves, that is inferred from what the ingredients are and where they sit in the list, not measured.
Tea Tree Purifying Shampoo is a shampoo from AROMATICA, aimed at fine hair, straight hair and wavy hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on scalp soothing, oil control and moisture. The ingredients doing most of that work are Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Extract, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate and Acrylates Copolymer. The list runs to 41 ingredients, 21 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
It cleanses with Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, a sulfate detergent — effective on oil and product, and the thing people move away from when colour fades fast or the lengths feel stripped. It is buffered with Lauryl Glucoside, which softens that considerably.
The formula reads as lightweight: humectants lead and there is little in the way of heavy oil or silicone, so it should not weigh fine hair down. There are no silicones in the list. The formula leans to moisture rather than protein.
For the scalp itself the formula carries Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Extract, Menthol and Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil. A sensitive or easily irritated scalp may want something milder — the detergent here is the strong kind.
A few ingredients here stay on the hair between washes (Acrylates Copolymer and Polyquaternium-10), which is worth knowing if you wash rarely or use a mild shampoo.
It is the first step of a wash: it goes on wet hair before anything else. Apply an appropriate amount to wet hair and scalp. Gently massage. Lather well and rinse thoroughly.
Nothing in this formula is aimed at protein & strength, volume / lightweight, color protection and damage repair — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.

One ingredient usually does several jobs, so these counts add up to more than the list length.
