Take the hair assessment and I'll rate this product for your hair type.
Take the hair assessmentPomelo essential oil, extracted from the peel, is rich in limonene, which effectively inhibits the 5-alpha reductase enzyme on the scalp—the primary cause of hair loss. Additionally, due to its antibacterial and high antioxidant properties, pomelo essential oil will provide you with a healthy scalp and hair.

Pomelo Shampoo is a shampoo from Cocoon, aimed at fine hair, straight hair and wavy hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on moisture, oil control and frizz control. The ingredients doing most of that work are Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate and Glycerin. The list runs to 54 ingredients, 19 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
It is sulfate-free: the cleansing is done by Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, milder surfactants that leave more of the hair's own oil behind.
The formula reads as lightweight: humectants lead and there is little in the way of heavy oil or silicone, so it should not weigh fine hair down. It contains Dimethicone and Amodimethicone. Silicones smooth the cuticle and cut frizz on contact; they are also what a clarifying wash is for, because they do not rinse out with a mild shampoo. The formula leans to moisture rather than protein.
There is a small amount of protein in the list: Arginine.
For the scalp itself the formula carries Panthenol.
A few ingredients here stay on the hair between washes (Dimethicone, Amodimethicone and Acrylates/c10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer), which is worth knowing if you wash rarely or use a mild shampoo.
It is the first step of a wash: it goes on wet hair before anything else. Apply the product to wet hair, lather gently with a soothing massage from roots to tips, and then rinse thoroughly for beautifully clean hair. Use daily for the best results. Avoid contact with eyes.
Nothing in this formula is aimed at protein & strength, volume / lightweight, color protection and damage repair — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.

One ingredient usually does several jobs, so these counts add up to more than the list length.
