Take the hair assessmentThe KUNDAL Airy Volume Hyaluron Capsule Scalp Mask is a refreshing scalp treatment designed to deeply hydrate while boosting natural volume at the roots. Featuring moisture-rich hyaluronic acid capsules, this innovative formula delivers concentrated hydration directly to the scalp, helping to relieve dryness and rebalance oil levels without weighing hair down. The lightweight, cooling texture soothes the scalp while promoting a clean, lifted finish.
Written from the ingredient list. Where it describes how a formula behaves, that is inferred from what the ingredients are and where they sit in the list, not measured.
Airy Volume Hyaluron Capsule Scalp Mask is a mask from Kundal, aimed at wavy hair, curly hair and medium hair. On the evidence of its ingredient list, the formula works on moisture, frizz control and shine. The ingredients doing most of that work are Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride and Dipropylene Glycol. The list runs to 61 ingredients, 33 of which carry a role we recognise for hair.
By the balance of its ingredients the formula reads as neither especially rich nor especially light. It contains Dimethicone and Amodimethicone. Silicones smooth the cuticle and cut frizz on contact; they are also what a clarifying wash is for, because they do not rinse out with a mild shampoo. The formula leans to moisture rather than protein.
It carries a moderate amount of protein — Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Silk, Hydrolyzed SOY Protein and Hydrolyzed Rice Protein — enough to firm up damaged lengths without dominating the formula.
For the scalp itself the formula carries Panthenol, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid and Menthol.
Several ingredients here stay on the hair between washes — Dimethicone, Amodimethicone and Polyquaternium-10 — so on low-porosity or fine hair this is a formula that will want a clarifying wash from time to time.
It is a treatment step: after shampooing, left on, then rinsed out. After shampooing, apply directly to the scalp and gently massage. Leave on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use 1–2 times per week.
Nothing in this formula is aimed at volume / lightweight, color protection and build-up avoidance — not a fault, just the shape of what is in the bottle, and the reason one product rarely covers a whole routine. No ingredient here is one we recognise as supporting hair growth. Reducing breakage and growing hair are different things, and this formula's evidence is for the first.
